Church leaders in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq request prayer after the murder of a convert.
On 7 March, a few weeks after she had announced her conversion to Christianity on her social media account, a woman was found dead. She had been preparing to be baptized.
There has been no statement by police.

Church leaders are concerned and request prayer:
- for wisdom in dealing with the situation
- for the protection of converts who may be revealed through the investigation, and for them to stand strong in their faith
- against possible repercussions for the church and other Christians
- for the perpetrator to face justice
