Iranian Christians request prayer for three Christian converts who were arrested at a prayer meeting in Rasht on 5 September and transferred to an unknown location.
At around 22:00, while a group of Christian converts were gathered for prayer, intelligence agents raided the meeting and arrested Morteza Mashhoudkari, Ayoub PourRezazade and Ahmad Sarparast. They have been taken to an unknown destination, presumably to be interrogated.
Iranian Christians request prayer that:
- God will strengthen and encourage Morteza, Ayoub and Ahmad and give them wisdom to answer their interrogators
- Their friends and families will know God’s peace despite the concerns for their welfare and lack of information about their whereabouts
- The Iranian authorities will stop the persecution of Christian converts and other religious minorities for the peaceful expression of their faith
