Iranian Christians request prayer for Ismail Narimanpour, Mohammad Ali Torabi, Alireza Vark Shah and Hojjat Lotfi Khalaf who were arrested by intelligence agents on 19 April in Dezful, Khuzestan province in south-west Iran.

According to Mohabbat News, Ismail’s home was raided at 7 a.m. and he was taken to an unknown destination.

Intelligence agents then went to the shop of Mohammad (also known as “David”) before taking him to his home, which was then searched and his mobile phone confiscated. He was told to report to intelligence offices. Mohammad had previously been arrested in 2017.

Alireza was also told to report to intelligence offices and after several hours, he was permitted to call his family and inform them of his whereabouts.

Ismail and Mohammad have not been able to contact their families.

Prayer is requested that:

  •   God will comfort and encourage the four converts and their families.
  •   God will help them during interrogation, that they will be able to respond wisely.
  •   Iranian authorities will stop pursuing their citizens on account of religious beliefs.
