Greetings in the name of Jesus
On 28th February we requested prayer concerning the trial of the five men charged with murdering three Christians in Malatya, eastern Turkey, on 18th April 2007.
The hearing scheduled for Monday (17th March) was postponed to the 14th April. Due to an administrative error the request by lawyers representing the two widows to have the judges replaced had not been sent to the higher court in Diyarbakir. Therefore, no answer had been received.
Turkish Christians request our continued prayers that:
* Semsa and Suzanne will know the Lord’s comfort and support throughout the trial process
* Justice will be done, and be seen to be done, concerning the perpetrators and those behind them
* There will be real progress in the trial at the hearing on 14th April
* All involved will consider the teaching of Jesus, experience His love for them and respond to His call
